Production Worker- Assembly (Harlan) 60;
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will work from engineering blueprints and work order instructions to assemble, repair, and inspect products while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities: Perform hand assembly using power and hand tools
Read blueprints, tape measures, and calipers accurately
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality
- Maintain clean, safe work areas and equipment (5S standards) or lean manufacturing practices.
- Track production data, including time and quantities
- Report defects, safety concerns, or equipment issues
- Ensure proper handling, identification, and storage of materials
- Assisting in the creation, optimizing and maintaining of detailed work instructions.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift and move materials and work with machinery
Preferred (but not required)- Hand and power tool experience
- Machine Operator experience
- Blueprint reading skills

Perform a variety of duties to do quality work from engineering blueprints, work order process sheets, quick quote sheets with written or verbal instructions to meet stock, and sales orders for shipment. Assembly for compliance with company guidelines by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following.
Required to do hand assembly, read a tape measure, dial calipers, and weight count scale. Work with machines, power, and hand tools to produce, assemble, and repair parts.
Maintain necessary records and daily maintenance 60;required 60;on power tools and equipment. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition. Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to your supervisor.
Perform visual as well as physical inspection of the product, raw material, and purchased material to ensure quality work. Duties involve selecting 60;parts, and 60;materials with proper identification, and location 60;in accordance with 60;engineering blueprint work order process 60;sheet, quick quote sheets. Must involve 60;accurate 60;counting, and identification of the material or parts to or from designated areas or work cells in a careful manner to prevent damage and injury.
Daily preventative maintenance.
Examining and having a thorough knowledge of engineering blueprint before a product or part can be made. Required to take responsibility to make a final inspection of the first completed part or product made to ensure total quality before continuance of the work order process sheet.
Responsible for proper stacking of finished 60;product 60;with 60;ensuring proper identification and location. Exercise care to prevent injury to yourself, fellow employees, equipment, and material.
Responsible for reporting 60;accurate 60;time, 60;quantity, and 60;etc., on work order process sheets, and 60;timecards. Perform other related duties as 60;required 60;or directed. Must be willing to strive for 60;new ideas, improvements, and quality standards.
Supports and 60;maintains 60;5S or lean manufactoring practices
Supports and upholds the quality and EHS policy.
